About:-
National Academic Research and Training Council (NCERT) has released a
recruitment notification for Librarian and Assistant Librarian post under
direct recruitment through an interview for its consent Invites online
applications for Units all over India.
These posts
are transferable between the constituent units of the council located in Ajmer,
Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Mysore, and Shillong and New Delhi.

Qualification - 1. A
#Master’s Degree in #Library_Science/ #Information_Science/
#Documentation_Science
with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed.
2. At least ten
years as a Librarian at any level in University Library or ten years of
teaching as Assistant/Associate Professor in Library Science or ten years of
experience as a college librarian.
3.Evidence
of innovative library services, including the integration of ICT in a library
4. A Ph.D.
Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science or Documentation or Archives and
Manuscript-keeping.

Librarian: Academic level 14 with rationalized entry pay of Rs. 1,44,200/-
(Pre-revised scale of pay : Rs.37,400-67,000 with AGP-10,000)
b) Assistant
Librarian: Academic level 10 with rationalized entry pay of
Rs.57,700/-(Pre-revised scale of pay : Rs.15,600-39,100 with AGP-6,000)
Application Fee - Applicants {UR (Male)/OBC (Male)/EWS (Male)} - Rs.1000/- (Rupees One
thousand only) through online payment mode.
Note- No
application fee for SC/ST/PWD/Women.
