Library Apprentices and Internship Trainee Vacancy at National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER ) Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Walk-in-interview for selection of Library Apprentices
National Institute of Science Education & Research (NISER) Library is planning to recruit three Graduate Library Apprentices. The selected candidates will get hands-on experience of working in different sections of the Library.
The training the program will be as per the guidelines of the Board of Apprenticeship/ Practical Training (East Region), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India.

Essential
qualification: Candidates must have a Bachelor of Library & Information
Science (BLISc) from a recognized university/ institute and passed out after
January 2019. Candidates with
MLISc degree having BLISc, the year of passing BLISc will be considered.
Desirable qualification: Science graduates with computer proficiency will be given preference.
Remuneration : Consolidated stipend of Rs. 12,000/- per month with no additional perk.
Nature of traineeship: Selected trainees will get the opportunity to work in various sections of NISER Central Library as well as on emerging tools and technologies in the Library and Information field.
NISER the library normally remains open beyond office hours. So the selected candidates have to work shift duty.
Selection procedure: Selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the written test and personal interview.

Candidates have to bring an original photo ID card (Aadhar/ Voter ID/ Driving Licence etc.) and original & self-attested copies of certificates, mark sheets of all examinations passed from matriculation onwards and a passport size photograph.
